Giorgia Soi

My roots are in Sardinia, where I was born, but I've always had a deep need to travel and discover - and that's still my attitude.
So, I went a bit around and, in the meanwhile, I took a degree in communication and a specialization in filmmaking at NYFA in New York.
I'm totally in love with stories, beautiful images, with the hidden part of the human soul and the nicest aspect of imperfection. So, at a certain point, I thought it could have been an exciting adventure putting everything up together and let it become a job.
My first contact with the audiovisual environment has been in London at MTV, in 2002. Since then, I've been working as writer and director for tv, documentaries, music videos, corporate films, short movies and some advertising.
My professional skills are about making up worlds and stories, actors' direction - with an inclination for children - and writing, with a special care for beauty and balance research.
Someone says I am a visionary lady... I don't know if it is true, but I like it!
